Welcome to Calder Therapies in Hebden Bridge, Calderdale

I am a Chartered Physiotherapist, Massage Therapist and Pilates Teacher with many years experience of treating physical injuries & conditions, problems & pain issues to get you back to your sport, work and normal lifestyle.

The Calder Therapies clinic (previously known as Calder Physiotherapy & Massage) is conveniently located in the centre of Hebden Bridge, close to Todmorden, Mytholmroyd and Halifax and I carry out home visits as necessary.
I also run a small group Pilates class on Mondays 1-2pm, see the Pilates page for further details.

What Matters to You and How Can I Help?

Physiotherapy, Massage & Pilates can ease, treat & help with many different health issues, a few of which include:

Back & Neck problems

Sport-related injuries

Joint problems & injuries e.g. shoulders, hips, ankles, knees

Lifestyle/posture-related issues

Stress relief & sleep problems

Headaches & migraines

Pre & post-surgery treatment & advice e.g. joint replacement, back surgery, fractures

Pilates teaching in a one-to-one or class setting

Whether you come with a specific Physiotherapy-related problem, for sport/deep-tissue/relaxing massage, to find out if Pilates can help make your movement easier and more comfortable or with an issue that requires a combined approach, your care will always be personal, knowledgeable and professional.

"How many treatments will I need?" "What do I wear?"

"How much will it cost?"

"After a soft tissue, myofascial release and manipulation massage, I was able to forward flex with much reduced pain, something yoga swimming and rest alone did not provide. Thank you Julie" - Sian
